Beach Retreat

I've stayed in this home for a total of 3 times in the past 11 years. I love the space, the only exception was the I didn't like that one of the rooms did not have access to a bathroom and the bathroom in the hallway, you have to turn sideways in order to sit on it and I am a very small woman, so imagine the inconvenience to others. Over time I get things wear and tear, so the upstairs vanity proceeded to detach from the wall. Maintenance took a while to come out after several calls to check. They did determined it was rotted out. The stove in the kitchen needs to be replaced (it is hard to cook on a electric stovetop with one of the cooktops rigged to come on). Made it hard to get anything done. I wish that it had a ramp that lead out to the beach, because it's creepy having to walk through the weeds to access the beach. Out of 3 years, we experienced a snake once, so we definitely don't visit the other houses at night. The front desk/office staff is extremely helpful and nice. Other than those issues, I would still stay here again.

Large group of women retreat

We scheduled is house to have a large group of women retreat. It was great. We had plenty of room and ample space to enjoy the house. The office has great employees (Letha) and was very helpful and professional with us while getting the house rented and handling the entire process. I would highly recommend this house to others.

Aqua Azule Beach Bash 2023

As always Letha takes care of us and the Beach House is always clean. We have rented this particular Beach house 4 times now I noticed some of the beds changed far as matresses. Ours was very hard and before the bed was really comfy and soft. A couple of people said the twin matresses is the twin bunk room was not matresses almost a pad it was very then and uncomfortable! But we enjoy the deck it's very spacious! I do believe the appliances do need an upgrade, especially the stove. And the second dishwasher underneath the wood (trim) came apart when we op3ned it to use it. That may need to be tended too.

The house was large and the AC worked great. The location is perfect to get on the beach. Overall we
were very pleased.

We really liked this house

Very nice house for our large extended family. Better lighting than some others, everything in working order except one coffeemaker, which they promptly replaced for us. Rooms pretty well furnished. Good A/C for our very hot July week. One BR had a totally private bath, good for elderly. The broom was lousy, but the vaccuum worked on the floor also. Our main concern was that we couldn't reserve it for next year, a full year in advance! It gets booked up fast. Not many chairs on porch, so bring your own beach chairs. We liked the picnic table on porch; we put a canopy over it for shade.

We love the house and will definitely be back! Bluewater Resort Rentals are the best to work with and very responsive. Could not have asked for a better weekend!

Roof Leak in front left bedroom facing the beach.
Front windows leaking facing the beach in living area.
Light bulbs hanging from wires at ceiling lights.
No bathroom trash receptacles, note have never seen a cabin without one, been renting with you for 10 years or so.
No chairs for the outdoor patio.
Owner needs to put money back into the place, felt run-down for the money we paid.

Wet Cold Weekend @Agua Azul

Had a family gettogether to celebrate my mom's birthday and despite the weather being pretty bad for the duration of the stay, we had a good time. Plenty of room and a great location. The place is showing its age especially in the kitchen...the stove is a relic and needs replacing...but all in all the place was as expected and met our needs. We had stayed here previously.

2021 Family Reunion

House was spacious. A/C worked very well--A+! Beds were comfortable.
The refrigerators did not work well. The brackets were missing on the doors so we couldn't place items there. Water was leaking across the back of the fridge and pooled on the shelves. Inconvenient.

Wonderful Family Reunion

Our favorite beach house out of five family beach weeks. One disappointment was that the 8 twin beds were made for smaller children than our grandchildren. The house does have room for several air mattresses. There were only 3 outside chairs and a picnic table for the porches. We could have used more.
Everything else was wonderful about the house. We had several working many hours using the wifi with no problems.

Great Family Vacation

Great house. Lots of room. Deck needs some attention. Rotten wood needs replacing railing loose missing boards. Baby or dog could fall thru.

Family Style

Our family gathered to celebrate multiple birthdays, multiple anniversaries, high school graduation, college graduation,and the birth of two new children this past year. Our ages range from 92 down to six months. This house accommodated all of us very well. The early risers were able to go about morning preparation and cooking and entertaining of children without disturbing those still asleep up stairs. The same was true in the evenings food preparation dominoes and music did not disturb the young ones upstairs. Clean,well planned out floor plan, large gathering area, everything we needed for a great family celebration!!!

Pleasant weather for December.
The house itself had a few issues. No hot water at the kitchen sink and one dishwasher was not working, while the other one was in need of replacement.
Refrigerators were not in the best condition either and the stove was in need of cleaning.
The space was adequate and the kids had their own space upstairs with a living area and tv.
WiFi was not the best reception.
We rent yearly and the management people are great.

It was nice

My family enjoyed it. It was a great weekend. All of the rooms were accommodating.

Year 33 with Rental Houses

This being our 33 year with Brannan/Bluewater Resorts was a new experience every year. This is the first time we were a little disappointed in the condition of the house as it has been kept up most of the years we have been in it. We started staying in this house when it was brand new. Went through the repairs after Ike and have been very pleased. The condition of the house is ageing and the upkeep is not on a preventative schedule but on a reactive fix. This does not mean that we will not continue to stay at the house in the future. The people in the office are always helpful and courteous. I have been very impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the patience that they project. Thank you for their constant loyalty to the clients.

The Aqua Azul @ Bluewater Resort

It was an amazing experience. We rented the beach house for family and friends to attend our daughter's wedding at The Springs Magnolia Manor in Angelton TX. It was close enough to the venue and relaxing to have a mini vacation. The Aqua Azul was exactly as online.

Family reunion get together.

there is never a dual moment when we spend our 10 days at the Agua Azul. There is plenty of things to do and the beach is the highlight of the stay. the porch is the evening event with cool breezes and lots of family time catching up on the years events.
We have been doing this for 30 years and have always been treated well by the staff. If there is a problem that arises with the house it is immediately taken care of. We have already booked our stay for next year and are looking forward to our stay.

We had a wonderful week. The house was very nice and clean. The AC had issues one morning but I called the emergency repair number provided and the guys were out and had it fixed within a couple of hours. Great service!

50th Anniversary Celebration

Other then the weather been foggy, it was a great experience. The entire family liked the accommodation. The house is large, we had room to spare.

Very clean, and spacious. Great outside area on top and bottom floor. Wish the shower heads gave more water pressure and that the walk way to the beach was a little more kept but no complaints other than that. Would definitely stay again!

Leach Family Beach Reunion 2016

The stay was perfect, no tar, no seaweed and no mosquitoes, plus a super beach house perfect for my large family. The kitchen is well equipped and designed for large groups and the front row beach access is great for kids. Great WiFi, TV

We love this place. We have a large family that gathers every summer for a week at the beach. This house works for us perfectly!

Overall very positive. There were minor issues with the house that were generally addressed. Not enough functional televisions and the oven did not operate properly which complicated Thanksgiving dinner. However we would rent it again.

Vacation for the family

Since we have been coming for a lot of years and have stayed in the same house for the past 11 years, we seem to have a really great time. Brannan is very prompt in taking care of any problems that come up in the house and repairs are done promptly. Enjoy the view and the easy access to the beach. The house accommodates our family very well. The employees have met all our needs and are quick to help in any fashion. We have a custom of enjoying Kitty's Purple Cow on the move in night so we can relax and take in the beautiful site. Yes, we would recommend this site for anyone who wants to rest and relax.

Overall positive, despite the impact of Tropical Storm Bill. We reported various "leaks" in connection with the storm, but not sure if they were ever checked on.

Agua Azul - Been there, Done that!

We have been going to Surfside Beach for 27 years during the fourth of July week. We have rented from Brannan for all of this time. This is the time our family looks forward to each and every year. Brannan has always made every effort to make our stay a wonderful experience. They respond immediately with any request we have. This is why we return each and every year.

Our 5-day annual Thanksgiving Family Vacation at Brannan Resort Rental's AGUA AZUL was FANTASTIC. Our 5 children, their spouses, and our 14 grandchildren had a wonderful time at a beautiful location. The first night was very cold outside, but inside, we were warm and happy and enjoyed each other's company in the spacious clean house.

Comformatble and spaciouse accomadating 25 women with no problem. Would only have 32 if kids were involved. I had to clean for 2 hrs before everyone arrived and still needed much more. Bring hand towels. Over all I we would do it again!

Beach Retreat

Our church rented this beach house for our women's retreat. It was perfect for a houseful of women. Plenty of bathrooms. The living area was perfect for our lessons. Our only suggestion would be to add a walk way to the beach.

Agua Azul Beach House

This was a great house for our annual family vacation. With 7 kids in the group, the upstairs separate living area and 6 bathrooms were a blessing. Will definitely rent there again.

Had a great time. The place is well laid out and very spacious for a large group. Short walk through the dunes to the water.

Senior Prom at Aqua Azul

We rented this property for a Senior Prom and overall, we were very pleased. It would have been nice to have picnic tables downstairs as well as an enclosed shower. We utilized the linen rental service and would again; however, the towels were shabby. We also had no hand towels for the bathrooms.

Beautiful Ocean front home!

This home was perfect for my family. The kitchen offered plenty of room for all the cooks. Lots of dining space for all of us. You can't get much better than this!!

Family beach trip

My family has been coming to Surfside Beach since 2000 and have rented houses from Brannon most of those trips. we have been very satisfied with the houses and have had really great times there. I hope we will be able to continue visiting the beach for
many years to come.

Great Weekend

There was not enough sitting on the deck. No swings or hammocks. Board games or puzzles would also be nice. Otherwise the sitting inside was wonderful. The amount of beds and bathrooms was excellent. Overall it was a comfortable, nice beach house.

Agua Azul Escape

The staff at Brannan Realty were very helpful and nice. The house was located on the beach. There was good parking and everyone loved the house. I would recommend it - it's gorgeous and has alot of room in the living area and kitchen. We slept in one of the upstairs balcony rooms and it was so nice to sit on the deck or balcony and listen to the waves. I hope we find the time to rent this house again in the future. We're already talking about a girls retreat or family reunion.

The only suggestion would be to get a better knowledge of the local laws and beach use. We brough four wheelers and were unable to utilize them during our stay.
