If there’s one thing Xavier Coates hates, by his own admission, it is snakes.
So Fletch and Hindy knew exactly what they needed to do, putting the winger’s bravery to the test in a hilarious segment titled ‘I’m a winger, get me out of here’.
Coates, sitting alongside Harry Grant and Will Warbrick was initially asked some normal questions before Bryan Fletcher quickly flipped the script.

“You know what, this is quite boring,” Fletcher said.
Nathan Hindmarsh asked “should we?” and from there the hilarious segment began.
“We’re not going to scare you, but we want you to take part in a little experiment,” Fletcher explained as a table draped with a black cloth was walked out.
Coates then donned a mask and put his hand in several clear boxes that contained mealworms, giant cockroaches and a snake — which yielded hilarious results.
“Please don’t put anything on me... oh my god, oh no... oh it’s a snake, it’s a snake,” Coates said as he shivered in fear with his teammates in tears with laughter.
Next it was Warbrick’s turn to touch an animal, being bitten by a green tree frog in hilarious fashion, which again sparked a raucous response from his teammates.
The next item wasn’t an animal, but something else, before Jahrome Hughes joined the trio to complete the challenge, touching a tarantula multiple times.
But while Coates thought his torment was over, Fletch and Hindy had another surprise up their sleeve.

The Storm players sat back down in their seats, preparing to finish their interview as a huge carpet python was walked out behind them.
Coates jumped off his seat and sprinted, while Grant’s chair flew out from beneath him as he scurried away.
“Please stay there, I am going to cry. Please, please, no please... please stop, I beg you. I am going to cry, I am going to cry,” Coates said.
Coates went on to overcome his fears, touching the snake before once again running for cover.
“I hate slimy stuff, I’m done, I’m done. I don’t like animals like that,” Coates said.
